Milton Becerra develops works that explore the difficult, complex relationship between man and nature.
With hemp knots, shells, stones, fibrous fabrics, ropes and animal skins, his installations are presented as a sort of philosophical and anthropological journey into the past, so as to make us think twice about the present.
Becerra’s sculptural objects dominate space by playing with gravity and light, and float suspended in the air as though they were feeling for a balance with the cosmos.
